Athletics Events & Guests Services Representative
Sacramento State Athletics seeks casual Events & Guest Services Representatives to deliver exceptional service and maintain a safe, enjoyable environment for guests at athletic events.
About the role
This temporary, hourly position supports 21 NCAA Division I teams by performing event setup/takedown, crowd control, ticket assistance, and general guest services. Hours vary based on operational needs and include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and takedown
- Provide crowd control and ensure guest safety
- Offer ticket assistance and guest services
- Maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment for diverse colleagues and constituents
- Support guests with special needs
Requirements
- Strong understanding of crowd control and guest services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Physical capability to lift 35 lbs and carry 25 lbs, and stand for long periods
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of athletics venues
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Must pass a background check
Pay
$16.90 – $18.00 per hour
