About the role

The Middle School/Varsity Assistant Coach at Lighthouse Christian Academy supports the Varsity Coach in helping student-athletes grow spiritually, athletically, emotionally, and socially during an important stage of development.

Responsibilities

• Support the Varsity Coach in helping student-athletes grow spiritually, athletically, emotionally, and socially.
• Emphasize skill development, teamwork, discipline, accountability, and character formation within a Christ-centered environment.
• Sustain and reinforce team culture.
• Contribute positively to the mission of Lighthouse Christian Academy.

Requirements

• A personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Prior coaching or playing experience preferred (especially with youth teams).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate, instruct, and care for students with patience and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must complete required background checks and child protection training.
