Athletic Trainer/Physician Extender- 40/hrs, Day Shifts ( Outpatient Orthopedics Temple Faculty Practice)

Responsibilities

• Fulfills patient care needs in Orthopedic Surgery outpatient offices and clinics
• Follows patients from arrival to departure
• Maintains patient and physician needs to enhance patient experience
• Prepares charts for visits and obtains testing approvals
• Schedules procedures and surgeries, supports clinical regulatory readiness
• Manages inventory and stocking, responds to patient calls
• Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting subordinate positions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program
• Master's Degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program preferred
• Two years of orthopedic experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Certified Athletic Trainer license required
• PA Athletic Trainer license required
• Basic Life Support certification required
