Athletic Trainer Medical Office I - Sports Medicine
Summary
Provides direct patient care, in a medical/physician office setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates, plans, implements and coordinates patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Makes sure to monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines and serves as a liaison to coordinate patient care.
- Aids the physician and advanced practice provider in the prescribed plan of care.
- Measures, applies and adjusts casts, splints, braces and ambulatory assistive devices.
- Provides clinical education and expert guidance to patients and families as it pertains to procedures and plan of care.
Requirements
- Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Required Licensure/Certification: Certification by The Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (NATA-BOC); Licensure with the State of Colorado (DORA) as an Athletic Trainer (LAT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
Pay
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Pay range: $25.80 - $38.70 / hour.
Schedule
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Days.
