Athletic Trainer - Athletic Training Services
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Under the direction of the team physician, and in accordance with the Pennsylvania Athletic Training Practice Act, the Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing athletic training services to student-athletes in the secondary school setting. This includes providing preventative measures appropriately, standard immediate care procedures used in emergency situations, clinical evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation/reconditioning of injuries.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Licensed in the state of employment as an Athletic Trainer
- Current BOC certification
- Current CPR certification
- PRIA Weight Assessor Certification (can be obtained after employment)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S)
- Minimum two (2) years experience preferred
- Entry-level graduates with BOC certification encouraged to apply
