About the role
The Athletic Trainer will function under the direction of a physician and provide services related to the prevention, recognition, evaluation, management, disposition, treatment or rehabilitation of a physically active person who has sustained an injury, illness, or other condition involving sport, exercise, training or related physical activity.
Responsibilities
- Provide services related to the prevention, recognition, evaluation, management, disposition, treatment or rehabilitation of injuries, illnesses, or other conditions involving sport, exercise, training or related physical activity.
- Travel to area high schools to provide on-site services for practices, sporting events and/or clinic hours.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program.
- Current certification as an Athletic Trainer from the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA).
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and AED.
- Ability to travel to area high schools.
