Job Description
Provide “Athletic Training Services” to student athletes under the direction of the team physician or by written referral from a physician, and in accordance with state athletic training practice act.
Duties
- Maintain appropriate general treatment orders to be reviewed annually and approved by the team physician.
- Act as a liaison between family physicians and specialists, the school district, athletes, and their parents.
- Maintain accurate records of injuries and treatments.
- Maintain open communication between self, coaches and athletic directors about athlete injuries, eligibility to play and other things as needed.
- Communicate injuries as needed to co-workers.
- Attend scheduled practices and games as given by the coach and athletic director.
- Attend weekly clinic rotation as scheduled.
- Absorbs other responsibilities as requested by Manager.
Qualifications
- Education Requirements:
- New York State License
- BOC certified by August 2026
- CPR and AED certified
- NATA Certified
- Possess a valid Driver's License
- Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in health-related field
- 0-1 year experience
- Skills and Competencies Requirements:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
- Must be able to multi-task and desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Pay
This is a full-time position with travel requirements 50-75% of the time.
