Athletic Trainer

This is a PRN role.

How You'll Contribute

• Provides athletic training services in clinic, at schools and within the community
• Evaluates and manages injuries and determines whether a referral is necessary
• Maintains a medical file on each athlete and acts as a liaison between the physician and the athlete
• Prepares athletes for practice or competition
• Develops conditioning programs for injured and non-injured athletes
• Implements treatment and rehabilitation programs under the supervision of a physician
• Negotiates, manages, and rehabilitates injuries to athletes
• Provides techniques for prevention of injuries and instructs/trains on safe exercise techniques

What we're looking for

• Applicants should have a Utah Athletic Trainer license and be a Certified Athletic Trainer through NATA.
