Athletic Trainer
What You'll Do
- Design and implement comprehensive conditioning and rehabilitation programs prioritizing athlete safety and recovery.
- Evaluate and manage acute injuries to develop immediate care and long-term treatment strategies.
- Coordinate patient care by maintaining detailed medical documentation and serving as the vital link between physicians, sports performance staff, and athletes.
- Prepare athletes for safe participation in practice and competition by ensuring all activities comply with professional regulations and medical guidelines.
Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations
- Licensed Athletic Trainer credentialed from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts required.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
