Promotion of Intercollegiate Athletic Teams
- Social media coverage of athletic teams and events, including creation of promotional videos and online profiles of teams, scholar-athletes, and alumnae.
- Produce creative content for the department including event schedule posters, promotional items, and recruiting materials.
- Assist Athletic Communications Director with content for www.gobrynmawr.com and social media platforms.
Gameday Responsibilities
- Train and supervise game-day student workers for home contests, to support the event, the scorer’s table, and livestream videography.
- Provide on-site gameday support to the Athletics Communications Director for home contests.
- In-game responsibilities may include photography and video of the game, live social media coverage and contest statistics.
- Write and distribute post-contest recaps through various media and social media outlets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Sports Management, Marketing, English, or other related field.
- Experience writing game stories and athlete profiles.
- Experience with NCAA Live Stats and other statistical programs.
- Knowledge of Sidearm preferred.
- Experience with graphic design and social media.
- Background as a collegiate athlete preferred.
