The Athletic Coaching position offers:

• Opportunities to develop a values-driven team/program that supports Summit’s mission of College, Character, and Community.
• Supervision and administration of the team, including budget management and fundraising efforts.
• Uniform and equipment maintenance and tracking, as well as planning the end of season awards program.
• Communication with parents and students regarding scheduling for athletic events, including officials and facilities.
• Instruction to student-athletes on the fundamentals, details, and strategies of the sport.

What You’ll Do

As a Middle School & High School Athletic Coach, you will:

• Develop a team/program that is values-driven and supports Summit’s mission of College, Character, and Community.
• Model Summit’s values and behaviors.
• Supervise and administer the team, including budget management and fundraising efforts.
• Manage uniform and equipment maintenance and track the end of season awards program.
• Communicate with parents and students regarding scheduling for athletic events, including officials and facilities.
• Provide instruction to student-athletes on the fundamentals, details, and strategies of the sport.

What You Need

• A commitment to Summit’s values and belief that all children deserve a rigorous and equitable education that prepares them for college and for life.
• A passion for education and physical education/sports.
• Prior coaching experience is preferred.
• A clear health and background check.
