Athlete Partnerships Planner (Seasonal)
About the role
At Fanatics Collectibles, you will act as a liaison between Fanatics Collectibles and agents/athletes for the coordination of signings and memorabilia procurement. You will manage and coordinate with Fanatics Collectibles witness representatives and team/player contacts for autograph signings and memorabilia procurement. You will spearhead strategy and tactics for optimizing autograph signings throughout the product calendar year. You will prioritize and multitask projects and card signings based on deadlines and milestone calendar dates. You will maintain tracking systems to monitor athlete participation, contract fulfillment, and procurement milestones. You will review product checklists with Product Development for autograph requirements. You will oversee new onboarding portal for vendors, providing support to ensure full execution, as well as providing guidance/feedback to internal parties for ongoing improvements and efficiencies. You will ensure that inventory receipts are transacted accurately and all expenses are allocated to the appropriate GL accounts. You will ensure compliance with contractual obligations. You will foster and maintain relationships with agents, marketing reps, teams and industry contacts. You will coordinate talent activations and marketing/licensing events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in related fields (sports industry, project management)
- Candidates should be self-confident, energetic, proactive, organized and highly detail oriented
- Must like a fast-paced environment, and have ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and thrive in changing circumstances
- Exceptional written and oral communication
- Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong passion and comprehensive knowledge of sports
