About the role
We are looking for a creative ATE Test Engineer to help transfer GPU, Tegra, and Automotive products from design engineering to mass production. You will be exposed to various aspects of building and testing NVIDIA products, from chips to assembled boards. Your responsibilities will include working with overseas manufacturing teams to increase yields, test coverage, and capacity while reducing production costs.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, implement, and support ATE test program bring-up, characterization, and production for GPU/Tegra/Automotive products.
- Develop ATE test programs, including constructing or enhancing test methods, debug, and integration of timings/levels/patterns/TM and test flow.
- Own test methodologies and strive for continuous improvement of production test programs in quality and efficiency.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of load board (LB) schematics and design to aid debug.
- Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Development Engineering, DFT, and IC design, to efficiently debug product failures and implement optimal solutions.
- Write and maintain scripts/tools for the test engineering group to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in IC Design, application, or ATE testing of VLSI.
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience with the Advantest 93K ATE platform (SmarTest 8).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
- Understanding of DFT insertion techniques, including SCAN, ATPG, MBIST, and IOBIST.
Skills
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Knowledge of active thermal management.
- Product engineering experience, such as yield analysis, vmin/fmax characterization, and defect analysis.
- Ability and desire to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
- Experience with Teradyne UFlex ATE.
- Experience with AI-assisted workflows using tools like Cursor, Claude, and ChatGPT to enhance efficiency.

Pay
Base salary ranges:
- Level 2: 100,000 USD – 166,750 USD
- Level 3: 132,000 USD – 207,000 USD
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
