Responsibilities

  • Practicing the policies and guidelines of the institution to manage the local branch operations and strategies.
  • Issuing loans, collecting deposits, and managing loan repayments.
  • Providing necessary support during audits, monitoring visits, and field inspections.
  • Managing financial transactions, cash flow management, budgeting, and expenditure control within the branch area.
  • Safeguarding financial records, vouchers, ledgers, and bank reconciliations.
  • Regularly reviewing the performance of loan portfolio, interest-bearing loans, and repayment status.
  • Approving member recruitment and committee formation through field visits.
  • Ensuring daily OTR (Over-the-Counter Rate) compliance and reporting to regional offices.
  • Verifying the authenticity of loans through periodic checks and project reviews.
  • Conducting monthly, tri-monthly, and annual reconciliations with passbooks.
  • Planning and implementing group credit operations and ensuring their execution.
  • Setting quarterly targets for income and expenses and preparing budget and economic projections for regional offices.
  • Evaluating subordinate staff based on performance metrics.
  • Preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for regional offices.
  • Managing loan verification, approval, disbursement, and subsequent reviews.
  • Safeguarding all relevant documents related to loans and conducting regular valuations.
  • Implementing necessary adjustments to reduce default rates and increase recovery rates.
  • Managing the work of all employees within the branch area, providing direction, and evaluating performance.
  • Completing daily MIS (Management Information System) and AIS (Asset Information System) processes at the end of each day.
  • Scheduling regular staff meetings, assessing employee competence, and organizing training sessions.
  • Maintaining security protocols and ensuring adherence to the institution's code of conduct.
  • Maintaining relationships with loan recipients, community leaders, and local stakeholders.
  • Solving issues arising from the work of the branch area and addressing customer complaints.
  • Informing customers about loan terms, usage rules, and repayment obligations.
  • Requirements

    • At least 3 years of experience.
    • A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
    • Must have strong analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in banking operations.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Experience in human resources management.
    • Strong administrative skills.
