Pay

Compensation: $15.00-$16.00/hr (based upon experience)

Schedule

Part Time Evening | Rotating Weekends and Holidays

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • Previous caregiver experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record may be required
  • Active CPR preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to assess and effectively communicate with residents

Responsibilities

  • Assists residents in all activities of daily living as assigned, encouraging independence.
  • Supports residents with tasks such as meal preparation, medication reminders, grocery shopping, monitoring food expirations, pet care, and watering plants.
  • Provides individual companionship and supervises daily personal care routines.
  • Performs light housekeeping and laundry tasks, including organizing resident belongings and changing linens.
  • Observes residents and reports changes in physical, psychological, and emotional condition to appropriate personnel.
  • Contributes to the development of the Service Plan for each resident.
  • Documents the care and treatment provided to residents.
  • Transports residents within the community, to therapy, and to appointments.
  • Escorts residents to outside physician appointments as assigned.
  • May assist with clerical duties in the Wellness Center.
  • Performs basic emergency care procedures.
