At Home Caregiver

About the role

Visiting Angels of Tyler is hiring caregivers to serve clients in the East Texas area including Canton, Ben Wheeler, Murchison, Tyler, Jacksonville, Palestine, and more. Join a national network of at-home care providers.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervising clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle
• Training in First Aid and emergency response (provided if needed)
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties
• Reliable transportation to client homes
• Comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties
• Willing and able to comply with health and safety standards

Schedule

• Part Time: 8 Hour Shifts, 10 Hour Shifts, 12 Hour Shifts, PRN, Short Shift, Day Shift
