Responsibilities

• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescription medications appropriately.
• Assist with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle for client transportation.
• Minimum 2 years professional caregiving experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response (provided if needed).
• Excellent time‑management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at scheduled times.
• Physical endurance for tasks such as carrying groceries and supporting a client.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with state and office‑specific health and safety standards (e.g., background check).
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten each client’s day.
