Visiting Angels of Kirkland is hiring caregivers to serve clients throughout the Greater King County area including Sammamish, West Seattle, Des Moines, Normandy Park, Kirkland, and more. Responsibilities

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene
• Aiding clients with light physical exercise or walks
• Planning and preparing meals with clients
• Handling light housekeeping duties
• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents
• Providing pleasant, supportive companionship
• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Accompanying and supervising clients during shopping trips
• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately
• Assisting with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties at once
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care
• Physical endurance for tasks like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Ability to perform housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Willingness and ability to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (e.g., background check)
• Compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client

License

• HCA
• CNA
• Exemption Letter with Active NAR
• Driver's License if applicable

Shifts (7 Days a Week)

• Morning
• Mid-Day
• Evening
• Overnight
• Live-in’s
