Ast Inst/Inst/Ast Prof - Fixed Term
Duties
Includes teaching in the Intensive English Program (IEP), the English for Academic Purposes program (EAP), and/or special contract programs.
Attends organizational meetings and meetings related to skills coordination.
Proctors the Michigan State University English Language Test (MSUELT).
Evaluated by Skills Coordinators and/or Teaching Coordinators.
Minimum Requirements
- Instructor Rank: A Master's Degree is required.
- Masters degree in TESOL or closely related field preferred.
- Those with a BA require extensive ESL teaching experience and experience working with international students.
- Excellent English communicative skills.
- Experience teaching outside of the U.S.
- Experience with ESL in Higher Education, credit and non-credit.
