AST/ASO/FULL PROF -Academic Pulmonary Pathologist

About the role

The Department of Pathology, Immunology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Gainesville, FL, seeks an academic Head and Neck and/or Pulmonary Pathologist.

Responsibilities

• Mainly sign-out within their subspecialty
• Tumor board and clinical conferences
• Frozen section and AP call coverage
• Contribute to medical student, resident and fellowship training
• Contribute to scholarly study and investigation
• Possibility of departmental leadership role in Thoracic pathology

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board certification in Anatomic Pathology or AP/CP
• Florida Medical license
• Subspecialty fellowship training or experience in head and neck or pulmonary pathology
