Responsibilities

  • Execute audits, review work, and communicate with clients and internal teams to complete assurance engagements.
  • Supervise junior staff and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Communicate and resolve issues during audit engagements under the guidance of the engagement manager.
  • Develop and implement audit strategies from planning to reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to enhance satisfaction.
  • Research, analyze, and apply complex accounting and auditing principles.
  • Draft financial statements and present audit findings both verbally and in writing.
  • Mentor and develop junior staff, offering training, feedback, and career guidance.
  • Promote sustainable workplace practices, including remote work, digital collaboration, and environmental initiatives.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in public accounting, preferably in life sciences, technology, Blockchain, construction, manufacturing, or consumer products/retail industries.
  • CPA certification or be in the process of obtaining one.
  • Experience auditing complex accounts such as inventory, revenue, equity/stock options, etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize information to make informed recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving and practical solution implementation skills.
  • Experience managing audit engagements from start to finish, ensuring client satisfaction.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $115,000 per year, contingent upon location and qualifications. Candidates outside the San Francisco Bay Area are encouraged to apply, and a recruiter will provide a tailored range based on their qualifications.
