Tasks
- Oversight of all aspects of audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements
- Development of programs, plans, and approaches for assigned client engagements
- Supervision and review of all work of seniors, staff, and interns on assigned client engagements
- Communication of status of work, problems, and findings to both internal GBQ management and clients
- Collaboration with firm leaders, other departments, and client leadership to identify issues and develop and implement solutions
- Review of engagement profitability and preparation of monthly billing
- Development and delivery of executive presentations and summaries of financial information
- Leading client and internal meetings
- Maintenance of charge hour budget and staff charge budgets
- Prioritization and management of multiple engagements and tasks
- Participation in and leading of approved non-client initiatives
- Establishing and implementing policies to improve department efficiencies
Profitability
- Monitoring hours incurred by engagement team members and progress of assigned client engagements
- Ensuring work is completed within defined budget and timeline
- Monitoring staff charge budgets to ensure achievement of charge hour budgets and hour expectations
- Prioritizing and managing multiple engagements and tasks

- Representing firm and building relationships through participation in fundraisers, meetings, and professional events
- Demonstrating strong leadership skills while completing client work and firm-related projects
- Identifying opportunities to obtain new engagements and assisting in securing new clients and engagements
- Participation in and leading of public speaking engagements and presentations
