About the role

The role of Assurance Senior involves providing high-level assurance services to clients. This includes leading audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex assurance engagements, including audits, reviews, and other assurance services.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement audit plans, gather and evaluate evidence, and document findings.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay current with changes in accounting standards, auditing practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in assurance services, preferably in public accounting.
  • CPA certification is preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

Qualifications

  • Experience with financial statement audits and assurance services.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance.
  • Understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices.

Pay

Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
