About the role
The role of Assurance Senior involves providing high-level assurance services to clients. This includes leading audits, reviews, and other assurance engagements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex assurance engagements, including audits, reviews, and other assurance services.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement audit plans, gather and evaluate evidence, and document findings.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards, auditing practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in assurance services, preferably in public accounting.
- CPA certification is preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
Qualifications
- Experience with financial statement audits and assurance services.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance.
- Understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices.

Pay
Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
