Responsibilities

• Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
• Effectively and efficiently run assigned assurance engagements, compliant with professional standards and within budget expectations, which includes planning, execution, and delivery of assurance engagements.
• Absorb and prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
• Build strong internal relationship within ATKG Assurance and across other services.
• Coach, supervise and conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff.
• Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures.
• Provide technical and software training for new employees.
• Provide day-to-day help to staff and interns.
• Promote the firm by participating in associations, chapters, and local events.
• Identify additional client needs and follow ups.
• Communicate with clients as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred.
• 3-5 years of audit experience in public accounting setting.
• Thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with the entire audit process.
• Understanding of risk-based auditing and risk and control strategies.
• Results oriented with attention to detail.
