Assurance Senior Associate [Real Estate Group]

About the role

CohnReznick is seeking an Assurance Senior Associate to join our Real Estate Industry Group, specifically the Commercial Real Estate and/or Affordable Housing team. This position is hybrid, with team members expected to be in the office on average 3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Develop detailed engagement work plans
• Illustrate budgets and schedules
• Actively participate in proposals
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback

Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
• Real Estate experience preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
• Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

Pay

The salary range for an Audit Senior Associate in Illinois is $80,000 to $120,000. Salary determination varies based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
