About the role

The Assurance National Growth Enablement Leader is responsible for shaping, advancing, and enabling execution of the Assurance practice’s national market growth strategy in alignment with the Firm’s enterprise growth agenda, strategic priorities, and Assurance business objectives. This role serves as a senior strategic advisor and execution leader to the National Managing Principal of Assurance and other Firm leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the design, development, and advancement of the Firm’s national market strategy in alignment with enterprise growth priorities and Assurance business objectives
  • Promotes strategic alignment across market leadership, industry leadership, and national functions to ensure coordinated execution of the Firm’s growth agenda
  • Supports a more seamless and client-centric market approach across Core Assurance, FAAS, ISS, and other relevant BDO service lines
  • Leverages business intelligence, market insights, competitive analysis, pipeline data, pursuit trends, financial performance, and client feedback to inform enterprise decision-making, identify opportunities for expansion, and guide execution of high-impact growth initiatives

Requirements

  • Twelve (12) or more years of experience in professional services, enterprise strategy, market growth, business development, consulting, or strategic leadership
  • Ten (10) or more years of experience leading enterprise-level, multi-market, or multi-industry strategic initiatives
  • Eight (8) or more years of experience advising and influencing executive leadership within a complex, matrixed organization
  • Experience developing and executing enterprise market strategy, growth planning, and go-to-market initiatives
  • Experience using performance metrics, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and financial data to guide strategic recommendations and business decisions
  • Experience within a professional services firm
  • Experience supporting or partnering with Assurance or other regulated professional services business lines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Management, Economics, Strategy, or Accounting
  • Master of Business Administration preferred

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise market strategy, growth planning, market segmentation, and professional services business models
  • Advanced knowledge of market performance metrics, revenue growth drivers, and strategic planning methodologies
  • Ability to operate as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and provide strategic counsel on complex growth and market issues
  • Ability to align enterprise priorities with market-level execution across a large, matrixed organization
  • Ability to influence senior leaders, build consensus, and drive strategic alignment without direct reporting authority
  • Ability to analyze complex business, market, and financial data and convert findings into actionable recommendations
  • Ability to prepare and deliver executive-level presentations, communications, and strategic materials with clarity and impact
  • Ability to lead multiple high-priority initiatives with strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Ability to foster collaboration across markets, service lines, and national support functions to achieve enterprise objectives
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, change, and organizational complexity
  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
  • Experience with CRM platforms, including Salesforce
  • Experience with strategy, planning, and reporting tools
