Assurance Manager [Financial Services Group]
YOUR TEAM
As part of the Financial Services Industry team, you’ll work with some of the nation’s leading private equity, hedge, and other alternative investment funds. You’ll gain valuable knowledge of the capital markets ecosystem and use it to deliver the comprehensive transaction, fund, and portfolio company audit, tax, and value creation solutions. As a result of the unique organizational structure of most private investment funds, you’ll collaborate with other CohnReznick industry and service line team members to deliver outstanding technical and client service. Located in almost every financial center across the United States—New York, Connecticut, California, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Denver, Miami, and more--our clients deploy billions of dollars of capital and expect situation-tested expertise, industry knowledge, access to market intelligence and timely response to questions and requests.

YOUR ROLE
- Drive client engagements
- Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, management letters, agreed upon procedures, and other attestation engagements
- Demonstrate professional creativity in dealing with client matters and make constructive suggestions to improve client operations
- Effectively analyze client transactions, recognizing and resolving potential or existing problems with appropriate research and consulting
- Accept responsibility and utilize firm resources to complete assignments
- Oversee, mentor, and develop staff
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
- Financial Services experience required
- Exceptional analytical, technical, and auditing skills including knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB rules and standards
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- CPA licensure required
- Exceptional client service and communication skills
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Demonstrates an Entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
- Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
PAY AND BENEFITS
In California, the salary range for an Assurance Manager is $95,000.00 to $160,000.00.
