About the role

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assurance Manager to join the Commercial Real Estate team in our Bethesda office. This position is hybrid, meaning team members are expected to be in the office on average 3 days a week for in-person collaboration, with the cadence determined at the team level.

This position will support our Real Estate Industry Group, specifically the Commercial Real Estate team. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
  • Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
  • Develop detailed engagement work plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Actively participate in proposals
  • Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required
  • CPA designation is required
  • 5+ years' experience in a public accounting firm
  • Knowledge of audit software (ProSystem Fx is a plus)
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and presentation skills (verbal and written)

Pay

In Maryland, the salary range for an Assurance Manager is $110,000 to $160,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon skills, experience, qualifications, and location, in accordance with applicable employment laws.
