ASSURANCE MANAGED SERVICES SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT
About the role
The Global Solutions team at EY is expanding to support the growth of Assurance Managed Services. This team works closely with business domain leaders to define the global vision for Assurance Managed Services and set standards for its development and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Alignment
- Facilitate structured discovery sessions
- Translate business strategy into managed services value propositions and roadmaps
- Design end-to-end managed services business architectures
- Ensure alignment between business architecture, technology architecture, and operational capabilities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, controls, and risk frameworks
- Liaise with IT security, data security, quality and risk management, Independence, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to the design and development of the Managed Services Orchestrator
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Delivery, Finance, Technology, and Operations teams
- Represent the solutions team as the lead solution architect in their respective domain
- Support the build of financial models and supporting business cases
- Work across multiple business domains
- Support global or multi-region service delivery models
Requirements
- Business + Service Architecture Lead: Minimum of a Bachelors-level qualification in Management, Finance or Accounting; minimum of ten years’ experience in managing the end-to-end architecture for managed services and/or outsourced solutions; certification in an Enterprise Architecture method such as TOGAF
- Technology Architecture Lead: Minimum of a Bachelors-level qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology; minimum of ten years’ experience of agile, iterative and conventional development methodologies and how to apply them to platform, transaction, transactional application and analytical systems development; certification / experience of building solutions leveraging cloud (ideally Azure) and public SaaS platforms (ideally including SAP)

- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience in global or multi-region service delivery models
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)
Skills and Attributes
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to engage effectively on specialist architecture with architecture professionals, Assurance SMRs, senior EY leaders and senior client stakeholders
- Experience supporting the build of financial models and supporting business cases
- Experience working across multiple business domains
- Experience in global or multi-region service delivery models
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (eTOGAF) and service management frameworks (eITIL)
Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $138,200 to $266,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $165,800 to $302,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
Schedule
Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
