About the role
This position offers a full-time opportunity with 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and Fridays from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Schedules may vary and flexibility is required.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history
- Support physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first aid procedures
- Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections
- Aid patients with prescription requests, handle pharmacy callbacks, process provider orders, and update charting and filing
- Conduct onsite lab testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests
- Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms for patient visits
- Provide excellent customer service aligned with Duly Health and Care CARE values
- Occasionally travel to assist other local clinics
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of a Medical Assistant educational program or equivalent health sciences coursework
- Several clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice require active medical assistant certification through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA, or AAMA
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire
- May require phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire
- Prior experience as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT, or two years of experience in a medical office assisting with patient care
- Experience using an electronic medical record preferred

Pay
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range for Medical Assistants ($21.43-$23.63) and Certified or Registered Medical Assistants ($22.97-$24.57), with actual pay determined by various factors.
