Asst.Manager-Maintenance

Location: Anywhere in Bangladesh · Full-time · Application deadline: 21 October 2026

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities
• Ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize unplanned downtime
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of mechanical, electrical and utility-related problems
• Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of planned jobs
• Supervise maintenance technicians, electricians, mechanics and contractors
• Allocate manpower and maintenance resources according to operational requirements
• Maintain records of breakdowns, repairs, preventive maintenance and equipment history
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, EHS and other departments to resolve maintenance related issues
• Control maintenance costs and assist in preparation of annual maintenance budgets
• Monitor consumption and availability of critical spare parts, tools and consumables
• Evaluate spare parts requirements and coordinate with Procurement for timely purchasing
• Support installation, commissioning, modification and upgrading of machinery and equipment
• Prepare regular maintenance reports and present findings to management
• Perform any other maintenance related duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Experience: At least 8 years
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• Skills: Mechanical maintenance, maintenance engineering, equipment maintenance, knowledge of maintenance procedures, facility maintenance, facilities maintenance, plant maintenance, maintenance planning, maintenance and repair
