Asst Dockmaster- Seasonal Part-time (Sat., Sun, & Mon 8am-4pm)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Enforces all Club dock rules.
• Check in and check out dock guests.
• Checks boats (dock lines, equipment, etc.).
• Ensures garbage area is always neat & clean.
• Conducts safety checks of docks.
• Provides fishing equipment and bait.
• Maintains a neat, clean, and orderly workstation always.
• Handles Member and guest routine comments in a professional manner and according to Club policies and refer any issues or concerns to the Club House Manager.
• Maintains a neat professional appearance with nametags and uniforms throughout the shift.
• Uses Member and guest names on a consistent basis to provide a friendly atmosphere.
• Keeps dock house neat & well organized – exterior free of gear & debris.
• Washes dock and deck surfaces each morning and end of day.
• Washes bait table each morning and end of day.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• A High School diploma or GED;
• One to two years related experience and/or training;
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

EXTRA REQUIREMENTS

• Previous boating experience is required.
• Requires a valid Driver’s License, Captain’s License Preferred and Basic First Aid/CPR preferred.
