Responsibilities
- Perform stock handling in accordance with DFS standard procedures
- Perform regular replenishment of product on sales floor under instruction
- Rotate product in accordance with rotation guidelines
- Follow-up Price Change Notification (PCN) report, print and replace relevant price tags for affected merchandise
- Consolidate damaged goods from sales floors for Team Lead further update on defective tools
- Assist in destruction of damaged goods when needed
- Send goods to repair center and collect after repairing
- Deliver goods to customers in line with location service and facilities offered
- Assist in distribution of Prêt-à-porter bags and other supplies
- Consult with immediate supervisor concerning issues, unusual problems or developments, and clarifications on direction and scope of efforts
- Support clerical work when necessary
Location-Specific Requirements
- Pre-order / Collection counter:
- Pack, prepare, check, and hand out pre-orders in accordance with flight schedules
- Dispense pre-ordered merchandise at collection counters accurately and efficiently
- Gate delivery:
- Deliver stock from the shop floor to gate hold rooms within terminal or across terminals in a timely manner
- Assist with stock transfers between locations or terminals
Systems and Procedures
- Comply with company policy and procedures relating to security
- Actively support and comply with all health and safety policy, procedures, and regulations
- Adhere to company dress standards, including care of uniforms and wearing of name badge
- Uphold the highest standards of personal grooming and presentation at all times
- Ensure punctuality as per roster schedule
- Keep updated on all regulations regarding Duty-Free Shopping
- Professionally promote the image of DFS at every available opportunity
Occupational Health & Safety
- Comply with DFS’ Occupational Health & Safety Policy and procedures
- Take reasonable care to act and behave in a manner that promotes care and diligence to oneself and others in the workplace
- Comply with reasonable instructions from any supervisor or authorized representative of the company concerning health and safety matters
- Attend OHS training as required and actively participate in Emergency Response procedures
- Participate in identifying, assessing, and controlling risks and hazards in the workplace
- Report any accident/injury/hazard in the workplace to manager or the site OHS Representative using the DFS’ systems and the logbook
Other Duties
- Perform other duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner
Requirements
- Educational Requirements: Secondary School, High School, or equivalent
- Work Experience: 1-2 years in logistics or related industry
- Licenses / Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license in locations as required
- Certified to operate a forklift (not essential)
Pay
Hourly rate from $24.50 to $31.25
