Associational Mission Strategist

The Autauga Baptist Association is seeking a God-called, visionary leader to serve as their next Associational Mission Strategist (Director of Missions).

About the role

This full-time position provides spiritual, strategic, and relational leadership to approximately thirty-one Southern Baptist churches and one Hispanic mission in Autauga County.

Responsibilities

• Provide spiritual, strategic, and relational leadership to churches and missions in Autauga County.
• Collaborate with church leaders to develop and implement mission strategies that align with the vision of the Autauga Baptist Association.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with church leaders and mission partners.
• Support and encourage church growth and development through mentoring and coaching.
• Oversee the implementation of mission programs and initiatives.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferably missiology, theology, or a related field).
• At least five years of relevant experience in church leadership, mission work, or a related field.
• A demonstrated commitment to Southern Baptist beliefs and values.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic planning and implementation.
• Knowledge of Southern Baptist denominational structures and operations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Skills

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication and public speaking abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
