Job Overview
Multiporpoise Management needs a new HOA manager for its growing vacation rental business. It’s not often you see the terms “HOA management” and “vacation rentals” in the same sentence, unless a community is trying to ban Airbnbs in their neighborhood. We buck conventions.
About the Role
We are the professionals that carry out the day-to-day operations of these communities, which are organized as homeowners associations. We’re also the Airbnb hosts that make them all their money.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of each homeowners association
- Serve as the primary point of contact for board members and homeowners
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate projects
- Aid with budgeting and financial oversight of each community
- Review invoices, write checks, put checks in envelopes, lick stamps, stamp the envelopes, walk to mailbox, mail the envelopes
- Change the coffee pot
Requirements
- Valid driver's license (bonus points for Mario Kart efficiency)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check (no bank robbers, please)
- Good credit history (required due to financial responsibilities related to association accounts)
- Basic computer and technology proficiency (Windows 95 or better)
- Minimum typing speed of 25 WPM (finger-peckers welcome)
- Ability to navigate stairs and lift up to 25 pounds (bonus points for spiral staircases and 11.3398 kilos)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Qualifications
- An excellent written and verbal communicator
- Comfortable working with homeowners, board members, vendors, and contractors

- Has a sense of humor and likes to inject it into their daily work
- Takes the job seriously but doesn’t always take themselves too seriously
- Hightly organized and detail-oriented
- Likes to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous HOA or association management experience
- Professional training or certifications related to HOA or property management
- College degree
- Experience working with boards, committees, or community organizations
- Great with a bow staff

Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The right candidate will be eligible for remote work (but we’d like to see you in person on occasion)
