Major Duties

  • Responds to personal financial planning client inquiries for account information or initiates transactions requested by the client.
  • Follows up with the client via the telephone or through written correspondence.
  • Researches and prepares materials (i.e. estate agreements, marketing updates) for client meetings and presentations.
  • Sets up files on new account documentation for existing clients or new business prospects.
  • Makes necessary arrangements for client meetings involving travel, audio-visual aides, lunch/dinner reservations, etc.
  • Utilizes the computer to compile reports for client meetings and presentations.
  • SUBMIT ACCOUNT DOCUMENTS TO THE LEGAL AREA AND EXTERNAL ATTORNEYS TO OBTAIN MISSING INFORMATION, CORRECT DOCUMENTS, CLARIFY INFORMATION, AND RESOLVE PROBLEM SITUATIONS.
  • PERFORMS SPECIAL PROJECTS (I.E. COORDINATING REPORTS, PREPARING ACCOUNT ANALYSIS AND WORKFLOW REPORTS) THAT REQUIRE RESPONDING TO SPECIFIC ACCOUNT INQUIRIES AND ISSUES.
  • COMMUNICATES WITH PARTNER AREAS ON ALL ASPECTS OF A CLIENT RELATIONSHIP AND INITIATES ACTIVITY WHICH FULFILLS A PARTNER'S OR CLIENT'S NEEDS.
  • ATTENDS MEETINGS AND CLASSES TO KEEP ADEQUATELY AWARE OF PERSONAL FINANCIAL PLANNING PRODUCTS AND SERVICES.

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of personal financial planning products and services usually acquired through on the job training is required to perform client inquiries.
  • Knowledge of a variety of bank computer applications (E-Mail, trust system, Focus) usually acquired through on the job training is required to compile reports.
  • Organizational and personal computer skills are necessary to prepare materials for client meetings and presentations.

Experience

  • 1-3 years of related client servicing experience.
