Major Duties
- Collect, organize, and maintain client personal and financial wealth plan profile data.
- Review and synthesize client profile data to assist in designing client profiles and wealth plans that integrate wealth management, wealth transfer, and tax efficiency goals.
- Communicate with internal and external partners, professional advisors, and others to obtain and deliver wealth plan-related information.
- Conduct fundamental research related to wealth plan solutions and strategies.
- Identify and prepare fee analyses of Northern and other products and services.
- Prepare presentations for client meetings.
- Where supporting a Lead Relationship Manager, interact with service areas to determine service requirements and issue resolution strategies, coordinate daily activities, oversee transaction processing, and handle inquiry resolution.
- Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
- May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management.
- Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior-level employees.
- May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior-level employees (but not a formal management role).
- More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas.
- Delivers a work product that requires less revision.
- Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of financial services, financial markets, and financial planning, usually acquired through formal education or work-related experience.
- Knowledge of financial analysis to analyze and interpret data.
- Desired to have or be pursuing professional designations such as CFP®, MBA, and similar evidence of advanced learning and professional qualification.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of financial and wealth planning and analysis experience with high-income/net-worth individuals and families.
