Associate Wealth Advisor
About the role
ShankerValleau is seeking an associate wealth advisor to join our growing wealth team of CFP® and CPA professionals providing comprehensive wealth advisory services. The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive accounting or finance experience and be interested in learning all aspects of the wealth advisory process.
Responsibilities
- Assist our team of wealth advisors with client meetings.
- Construct personal net worth and cash flow statements.
- Build and monitor financial plans.
- Prepare tax projections and assist with tax return preparation.
- Build strong client relationships through effective and timely communication.
- Provide back-office support to our Client Services Associate, refine and develop internal workflows, and assist with our office technology stack.
Requirements
- B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited four-year university.
- Experience in accounting or finance.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ready to work towards CFP® designation.
- CPA designation is a plus.
- Desire to learn (and continue learning).
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in the wealth advisory field and a desire to learn. No prior experience in wealth management is required.
