Associate Wealth Advisor
Focus Partners Wealth is a planning-centric team dedicated to creating personalized wealth advice based on each client’s unique goals and aspirations. The firm uses research-backed investment strategies to deliver custom-built portfolios and tailored wealth planning solutions across all 50 states.
About the role
The Associate Wealth Advisor partners closely with Wealth Advisors to maintain and enhance client relationships through active participation in the financial planning process, including retirement, risk management, tax, estate, and investment planning. This hybrid role requires 3 days in-office per week, with the option to work remotely 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop, revise, and present financial plans using planning software
- Apply knowledge of tax, estate, and insurance planning
- Master Focus Partners Wealth’s investment philosophy and create holistic investment strategies for each client, monitoring risk tolerance over time
- Understand trading fundamentals and partner with the Portfolio Management team to approve and execute portfolios, trade recommendations, and tax-loss harvesting
- Master the firm’s technology stack, including CRM and custodian platforms
- Collaborate with other Associate Wealth Advisors
- Independently lead client communications and interactions
- Diligently record client communication and information in the CRM platform
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for client needs, ensuring high-level service
- Complete client billing reviews and ensure compliance for the advisory team
- Engage in advisory team business planning and support the firm’s strategic priorities
- Meet with clients in person; some travel may be required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Series 65 or equivalent within 120 days of employment
- 2+ years of financial service experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach
- Knowledge of financial industry concepts, products, and planning
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Clean U4 record
Pay
The annualized base pay range for this exempt position is $85,000 – $105,000 per year, with actual pay varying based on experience, expertise, location, and skill set. Additional rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
Schedule
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office per week, with the option to work remotely 2 days per week.
