About the role
We’re seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to support our Wealth Advisors while developing the knowledge, experience, and licensure needed to become a trusted financial advisor. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in wealth planning, investment management, trust services, business development, and client relationship management. As you achieve licensing milestones, you’ll begin working directly with clients while building the skills needed to develop your own book of business. Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Support Wealth Advisors in servicing client relationships by maintaining regular communication, preparing client materials, coordinating follow-up, and assisting with account administration.
- Sales Support & Wealth Solutions: Learn C&N's wealth management products and services while supporting investment, trust, brokerage, and insurance solutions. As licensing requirements are met, begin working directly with clients under the supervision of a Wealth Advisor.
- Business Development: Participate in business development activities through networking, referrals, collaboration with internal banking partners, and proactive outreach while developing the skills to build your own book of business.
- Account Administration & Compliance: Prepare account documentation, support onboarding activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Professional Development: Complete required licensing and training while building expertise in financial planning, investment management, retirement strategies, trust services, and relationship management.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, financial management, or a related field is preferred AND 0-2 years of experience in banking, financial services, wealth management OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Required Certifications:
- FINRA Series 7 & 66 within 6 months of start date
- Applicable State Life & Health Insurance Licenses within 1 year of start date
