Associate Vice President, Alumni and Community Experiences
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for alumni engagement, community experiences, and constituent participation.
- Lead integrated teams across alumni relations, stewardship, annual giving, communications, volunteer engagement, and events.
- Partner with Advancement leadership to execute campaign engagement strategies that inspire philanthropy and volunteer leadership.
- Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams while leading thoughtful organizational change.
- Foster collaboration with senior University leaders, faculty, volunteers, and partners across the institution.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in advancement, alumni relations, nonprofit leadership, marketing, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success leading complex organizations and managing high-performing teams.
- Experience working with senior academic leaders, trustees, volunteer boards, and key institutional stakeholders.
- Strategic, collaborative leader with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Compensation
Anticipated salary range of $275,000-$325,000. Comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and paid time off. Hybrid work schedule based in Chicago, Illinois.
