About the role

We are seeking a new graduate veterinarian to join our dynamic team at University Veterinary Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. Founded in 2009, we are the only general and specialty practice in the entire Ark-La-Tex region and are AAHA accredited.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care for a variety of patients
• Participate in surgical procedures under supervision
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure clear and respectful communication
• Communicate effectively with clients to maintain strong relationships

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a recognized veterinary school
• Passing score on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Highly motivated and dedicated to providing quality veterinary care
• Interest in general surgery and/or dentistry
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
