About the Role

Pontchartrain Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and motivated Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our established small animal veterinary practice in Slidell, Louisiana, just minutes from the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain and a short drive from New Orleans and Mississippi's Gulf Coast. What You'll Do

As an Associate Veterinarian, you will:

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and wellness visits
• Diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical conditions in dogs and cats
• Develop preventive healthcare and vaccination protocols
• Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures
• Utilize laboratory diagnostics and diagnostic imaging to support clinical decision-making
• Create individualized treatment plans for patients
• Educate pet owners regarding preventive medicine, nutrition, and treatment recommendations
• Collaborate closely with veterinary technicians and fellow veterinarians
• Build trusting, long-term relationships with clients and their pets
