About the role
The Northeast Ohio SPCA Pet Shelter is seeking a full-time, on-site Shelter Veterinarian to provide high-quality medical care and ensure the smooth operation of the shelter's medical practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to shelter animals.
- Conduct regular health checks and vaccinations.
- Perform surgeries as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other shelter staff to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Must obtain and maintain an active Ohio veterinary license prior to employment (assistance with license fees, association dues, and PLIT).
