Associate Veterinarian - GP + Urgent Care

About the role

Join a supportive team of 4 full-time veterinarians practicing a wide scope of medicine, including wellness, urgent care, and surgery. Located in Selinsgrove, PA, we are AAHA-accredited, Fear Free and Cat Friendly, and have a workflow designed for efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

• Practice a wide scope of medicine, including wellness, urgent care, and surgery
• Collaborate with a team of 2 technicians per doctor
• Utilize in-house capabilities such as full in-house labs, digital radiography, and ultrasound
• Participate in peer collaboration throughout the day for consults, second (or third) opinions, and shared learning

Requirements

• Experience in small animal and exotic animal practice
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients and staff
• AAHA accreditation preferred

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in PA
• Experience in surgery, diagnostics, and client communication

Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Comfortable with a variety of medical procedures
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Schedule

Monday through Friday, no weekends required.
