About the role

Practice mission at Glenwood City Veterinary Clinic is to offer first-rate, compassionate veterinary care. We are a full-service, small animal practice and rehab facility with a team of three doctors, three certified veterinary technicians, several technician/kennel assistants, and CSRs. Located at 308 Leising Ave, Glenwood City, Wisconsin 54013, the clinic welcomes Associate Veterinarians of all experience levels, including new graduates, to join a growing, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed.
• Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
• Maintain patients’ medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes, policies, and procedures.
