Fairgrounds Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian (DVM/VMD) to join our experienced team in Reno, Nevada. We are a progressive small animal general practice providing comprehensive veterinary services, including wellness care, surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and urgent care.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced veterinarian seeking a collaborative environment, flexible scheduling, and the ability to practice high-quality medicine with modern equipment and a skilled support team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary: $90,000–$120,000 DOE

Qualifications

Required

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates
  • Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
  • Active Nevada veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date

Preferred

  • Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics
  • Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach to medicine
