Responsibilities

  • Practice small animal and large animal general practice
  • Occasionally handle exotics cases
  • Provide preventive care and wellness medicine
  • Treat drop-off appointments
  • Handle urgent care and emergency cases during regular business hours
  • Perform soft tissue surgery
  • Offer dentistry services
  • Handle haul-in appointments and farm calls
  • Support surgical procedures such as spays and neuters, mass removals, eyelid surgeries, foreign body surgeries, cystotomies, amputations, femoral head ostectomy (FHO), and additional soft tissue surgical procedures
  • Practice true mixed animal medicine, including companion animal medicine and surgery, equine and livestock care, and limited emergency and urgent care services

Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary program, or currently enrolled and expected to graduate from an accredited veterinary program
  • Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Washington State
  • Commitment to practicing high-quality veterinary medicine
  • Strong communication and client relationship-building skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Interest in mixed animal medicine, comfortable working with both companion animals and large animals, or eager to develop those skills
  • Comfortable working with surgery, urgent care, and emergency medicine
  • Passion for lifelong learning and professional development
  • Compassionate, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary program, or currently enrolled and expected to graduate from an accredited veterinary program
  • Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Washington State

Pay

$110,000+ annually, with additional bonus opportunities based on performance and experience.

Schedule

4 days per week (Wednesday-Saturday) plus 1-2 on-call days per week.
