Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animal patients.
  • Offer services to avian and exotic patients.
  • Support clients interested in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
  • Collaborate with LVTs and assistants to perform procedures fluidly.
  • Contribute to internal medicine, dentistry, surgery, and preventative care services.

Requirements

  • DVM or equivalent degree.
  • Current Washington State license to practice veterinary medicine (required).

Skills

  • Interest in general surgery and/or dentistry.
  • Collaborative team member with clear and respectful communication.
  • Effective client communication skills.
  • Commitment to quality medicine and the human‑animal bond.

Schedule

  • Clinic hours: Monday–Friday 7:30 am – 6:00 pm; Saturday 8:00 am – 1:00 pm.
  • 30‑minute appointment slots with a 90‑minute midday break for lunch and procedures.
  • No on‑call duties; overnight emergencies handled by local emergency services.
  • Full‑time (4 days per week) or part‑time positions available, with or without surgical responsibilities.
  • Vacation flexibility – many associates enjoy 4 + weeks of paid time off per year.
