Associate Veterinarian

About the role

Parkway Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our well-established, AAHA-accredited veterinary practice in Roseburg, Oregon.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with four experienced veterinarians and a highly skilled support team
• Provide preventive, medical, and surgical care for patients
• Build lasting client relationships through education and communication
• Develop treatment plans and follow-up care recommendations
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
• Deliver high-quality medicine using advanced diagnostics and equipment

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college of veterinary medicine, or equivalent certification for international graduates
• Successful completion of the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
• Active Oregon veterinary license in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure prior to start date
• Experience utilizing digital radiography, dental radiography, and in-house diagnostics (preferred)
• Experience in small animal general practice, urgent care, or companion animal medicine (preferred)
• Interest in mixed animal medicine (preferred)
• Strong communication and client relationship skills (preferred)

Pay

Competitive base salary based on experience, with quarterly production bonuses and a generous sign-on bonus package. Relocation assistance is also provided.
